The TOS grinder was upgraded with a servo motor and digital readout, greatly improving precision, control, and machining efficiency.
The TOS grinding machine underwent a comprehensive retrofit to significantly enhance its performance and operational accuracy. The original step motor was removed and replaced with a high-precision servo motor, providing smoother motion, faster response times, and far greater control over the grinding process. This upgrade alone markedly improved repeatability and positioning accuracy. In addition, a modern digital readout (DRO) unit was installed, giving the operator real-time measurement feedback and improving setup efficiency as well as process monitoring. Together, these enhancements have elevated the machine’s precision, stability, and ease of use, resulting in more consistent machining quality and a notable increase in overall productivity.
