The OVM machine received a new HUST controller, improving operation of its universal head, rotary tables, and tool magazine for greater productivity.
The OVM machine underwent a comprehensive retrofit aimed at improving its multi-axis functionality, control accuracy, and production efficiency. As part of the upgrade, the outdated control system was replaced with a modern HUST controller capable of managing complex machine functions with greater precision and reliability. This new controller now enables seamless operation of the machine’s universal head in both vertical and horizontal orientations, ensuring smoother transitions and improved machining flexibility. Additionally, the system provides coordinated control of two rotary tables, enhancing multi-axis positioning accuracy and allowing more sophisticated machining operations. The servo-driven tool magazine also benefits from faster, more reliable indexing, reducing tool-change time and minimizing cycle interruptions. Altogether, the retrofit significantly boosts the machine’s versatility, precision, and overall productivity while extending its operational lifespan.
