The Hurco machine was upgraded with a new SIEMENS controller, new ballscrews, and refurbished rotary axes, greatly improving performance.
The Hurco machine underwent a comprehensive retrofit designed to significantly enhance its accuracy, reliability, and overall machining capability. As part of the modernization process, the outdated control system was replaced with a new SIEMENS CNC controller, providing faster processing speeds, improved user interface features, and advanced motion control functions. Mechanically, the machine received new high-precision ballscrews, which greatly improved axis positioning accuracy and reduced backlash. In addition, both the 4th and 5th rotary axis units were fully refurbished, restoring smooth rotation, stability, and precision during multi-axis machining operations. Together, these upgrades resulted in a more capable, efficient, and dependable machine, extending its operational life while aligning it with modern manufacturing standards.
